Lesson 4: Create a designed part record with CAD file attachment

A design part record identifies a physical item made to your exact specifications. It's identified with an internal ("home") part number and description, and usually includes proprietary information, such as a CAD file, specification or procedure. This information can be a file attachment tied directly to the part record, or as a reference to a document record that contains the file attachment.

For this lesson, you'll attach a file - if you wish, save this example file to your computer.
