PDXpert PLM Software
Training Tutorial
Lesson 5: Create a purchased part with approved source
A purchased part record identifies your internal ("home") part number and description, as well as the manufacturer ("partner") and its part number. A purchased part can have more than one approved source, and each approved source can be ranked. Both home and partner part records can contain other information, such as materials and file attachments.
For older PDXpert releases, see Lesson 5 (PDXpert 10.0 to 13.0)
