Unlock change form Tasks (rule)
Before editing a system rule, ensure that no other users are using the system. After editing a system rule, close the PDXpert client and start it again.
To avoid unexpected effects, all change forms should be Completed,Canceled or Rejected before editing this system rule.
Administrators open this using the Tools ➔ System Rules… menu.
Determines when the Tasks list is unlocked and available for assigning and completing tasks.
Allows change form Tasks list to be modified while the change has not yet been routed for review, or until the change form is Completed or Rejected.
Unlock change form Tasks while change
- ◉ Is at Originated or Submitted§
Select this when change form tasks are used only to prepare the change for routing. After a change isRouted (and beyond), tasks are locked. Returning the change form to Originated or Submitted unlocks the Tasks list, and tasks can be assigned and closed.
- ◉ Is not Completed or Rejected§
Select this when change form tasks are used to prepare the change for completion, and are available during most of the workflow. Tasks can be used for general dispositioning instructions where detailed instructions aren't required, or for advisory changes without an iteration on the Affected list.
To work with tasks when the change is Released, theChange Forms collection member must have its Pause at Released state checkbox marked.

Select this if you want all users to be able to assign tasks on the change form.

These values define when the change originator and product teams can add, adjust, remove and close change form tasks.
